The camera opens on a Sunday, with violence about to ensue. The group had found the meeting place that Nicky had arranged for Cracker and Shaker to meet at. Greg had just kicked in the door for the place they suspect the pennon to be. Two people are standing at a folding poker table. Initiative has been rolled. 

Ram holds their action for Greg to move. Greg places Confounding Coils on Ram to protect them, and Ram dashes in after the wisp. They turn into the kitchen, see the window open, and the wisp is heading out the window. Ram pursues. Carmen ducks for cover. The redcap tackles Greg and they go down, while the eshu uses that opening to head out the door and blur away inhumanly fast. Jemmers shines a flashlight in the eshu's eyes before attempting to punch her. Molly taunts the eshu to get her to stop and fight rather than flee. 

Ram climbs the wall and looks around. The mote is on the move but no sign of what it's following. Ram chases. Greg lunges up and slams the redcap against the wall. Carmen tries to follow after Ram, but quickly gets turned around in the apartment complex and heads the wrong way. Greg gets sucker punched by the redcap. The eshu chucks the flashlight at Molly, which Molly tries unsuccessfully to catch and gets bonked. Jemmers flips off the eshu and goes running after Ram, trying to get out the window. 

Ram gets out to the road and the entrance. The wisp goes over the fence and into a tree. Ram climbs the tree and sees it lob into another tree. Once out of the tree, it is clear that there's a whole line of trees down the road. They call Carmen. Greg rains elbows down on the redcap's head. Carmen gets the call and Ram yells something about a squirrel pooka and gives the street intersection of 38th and Oak. Carmen realizes she went the wrong way and starts heading the right way. Greg is throwing elbows, and the redcap shifts to catch Greg's elbow in his mouth and Greg's elbow is stuck. Jemmers tries to animate a child's plastic turtle sandbox. It vaults into the air and falls down in front of Ram. Molly runs in and kicks the redcap in the head. 

Ram starts up their van and tries to bring it around with the hope to pick up Carmen on the way. Greg lifts up his elbow to try and pound the redcap's head into the ground, backed by fae magical strength. It knocks out the redcap but the redcap has locked his jaws. Carmen sees the van start up and hurries in, but it turns out to have a flat tire. Carmen checks in with Ram and then calls Molly and lets her know the situation. Jemmers uses Quicksilver to have the tree lob the target out, and a squirrel carrying a flag lobs out. It uses some aerial gymnastics and jumps in a different direction and ran across the street. 

Ram stealths their clothing as part of the chasing. Greg and Molly show up at the van and Carmen tries to instruct them in how to change the tire. Jemmers tries to distract the squirrel with seduction. Ram drives the van to their current location and everyone looks up at the squirrel on the roof. Greg and Molly try to crowbar the redcap off of Greg's elbow. Carmen uses her mom voice on the squirrel to get her to give up the pennon. The squirrel drops the flag and runs. Jemmers wants to chase after the squirrel. 

Ram climbs up and collects the flag. 

Ram is able to MacGuyver a device that pries open the redcap's jaws. He wakes up and chews up the device. He gets out of the van, and the group takes off for Lord Gaines. At a red light, Liliana tries to compel Carmen to hand over the pennon. She chases after them. Carmen gives Gaines a heads up that they are coming in hot. Guards are waiting when they arrive and Liliana pulls off. The group is escorted in. Jemmers is distracted by hitting on one of the satyr guards. They successfully hand off the flag.
