At the bar, post revelation of problems at the Stage, Carmen calls a couple of grandsons that are enchanted to watch over the boggarts until morning.
In the morning the boggarts have been untied and are playing craps with her grandsons. Carmen suspects something is up, but can't figure out what.
The trip out to the Stage seems longer than nomral. Carmen realized that she made a wrong turn that she wouldn't make, and there's some sort of disconnect with their oath-connection to the Stage. Arriving there, there's a taste of iron in the air, as though the enchanted space is damaged.
Inside the space, the chimerical curtain is torn, some of the stone seats are broken, and there's wet blood on the stage. Molly uses magic to divine what happened. She gets shadowy images of a fight, and gets one clear image of Penny lying in the blood.
Carmen's grandson Ricky leaves to get some tools for the boggarts to fix the Stage. Carmen calls Penny again and gets voice mail.
They report in to the baron, and the duke is still missing with no sign of where he might have gone.
Combined, they clean everything up. Carmen gives the boggarts her number for if they are in town again. The boggarts go over to the edge of the Stage and seem to disappear into a... cave?
The group goes to investigate, as it seems weird and suspicous. There's actually a cave in the Dreaming which corresponds to a culvert in the real world.
